For the first time, we have committed my voice to wax. 'Mother's Arms' is available on vinyl now.
'It'll definitely be a very special vinyl to add to your collection.' - The Jacaranda, Liverpool

In this era of streaming, data and algorithms, we wanted to create a physical manifestation of my music, something that would stand the test of time. There is nothing I love more than finding a rare copy of one of my favourite records (like 'Inside Betty Carter' (1964) or Roberta Flack 'First Take' (1969), opening it up and smelling the history between the tatty sleeve (kidding, that's kind of gross, but also, real). It's amazing to wonder how many hands have held the record, how many soft conversations around the table have happened with the record spinning in the background, how many grandchildren have discovered and enjoyed the cover art while routing through the records that they aren’t allowed to touch…
This is a huge moment for me. It’s the first time I have felt that my music represents me and begins to tell my story, authentically, in a way that hopefully makes you feel seen, gives you permission to feel, and confidence in knowing that you can figure it all out. It’s raw, it’s gritty, it’s emotional, it’s real. It is hopeful, it is freeing and it is now.
You can order the vinyl here on my website or pop into a record store and ask for it, you never know, they might have it, and if they don’t you should tell them to stock it and then let us know so we can pitch it to them and come and do an intimate in-store event.
Just in case you needed a reason…
‘Threads run through this sublime, soulful 4 tracker that taps into the ancestral cosmos with its musings on time, peace and knowledge. Framed musically around the jazzy elements of 90's trip-hop and the neo-soul movement of the early 2000's this reaches backwards and forwards, finding paths through to smoked-out blue-note back rooms of 50's yet moving up the elevator to the futurist sounds of now.’ - Jumbo Records, Leeds
This is a limited run and we won't be reprinting it so if you want to be able to listen to this music, no matter what, get your copy here.
